Literature Review

Literature Review 2.1 Introduction The second chapter will discuss previous research relating to entrepreneurship and the tendency of independent variables in the study. Definitions, definitions and concepts relating to entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial tendencies, and the independent variables of the study pro-active personality, self-efficacy, locus of control, innovation and risk considerations are discussed as a theoretical basis for the development of research framework. Discussion of studies on demographic factors, development of theoretical framework and hypothesis, the hypothesis will be discussed in this chapter. 2.2 Entrepreneurs Entrepreneurs in the Malay language term is actually derived from the word "effort”, which means the power of initiative, events, and other acts for the purpose of carrying out or completing any work (Kamus Dewan, 2000). VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY

Validity Validity refers to the extent that a test measures what should be measured. It said the problem is whether a measurement (e.g performance measurement) to measure what should be measured. If it does not measure what is supposed to measure the problem will arise. A test is said to be valid if the test is reliable and what measures should be measured. Validity can be divided into: the validity of the face, the validity of content, and Criterion Validity The validity of the idea. a. Face Validity Type of validity that focuses on whether the items in the questionnaire is clear and understood by the subjects. This refer to it measure what is measured with the same name. b. Content Validity Refers to the extent to which the test covers topics in a field of study. They measure the concept adequately studied. For example in the evaluation of employee performance; whether the questions raised in line to get information about the performance of the entire staff. c. Criterion Validity A t...

About Research: Chapter 8:

In this study describes the role of measurement in a research. It also discusses how to access available resources such as Mental Measurement Yearbook and Test in Print for more information about the need to assess the standard tests and other measurement tools. In this chapter also discusses the difference between the tests and scales available. In addition there is also discussion about the differences of the test Norm-referenced and Criterion-referenced. Discussions also continue on the difference between intelligence and achievement. Furthermore in this chapter have discussed the effects of ceiling and floor effects and raise the importance of this concept in the research. Discussions on the Likert scale described for measuring attitudes. It also cuba define evaluation tools to assess and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the tool. Do not forget to also talk about the features bipola adjective scale. What's interesting in this chapter is a discussion of some common er...

About Research: Chapter 8: Tool of Research

About Research: Definition of hypothesis

The Hypothesis in Quantitative Research Hypothesis is provisional recommendations for explaining the phenomenon being studied or recommended as a temporary solution. Hypothesis allows researchers to link theory with the analysis. Expectations hypothesis provides research on the relationship between variables. The evidence from analysis of the study will determine whether a hypothesis should be accepted or ignored. There is several reasons why should be established hypothesis. First, hypothesis to expectations or forecasts, while the phenomenon being studied. This explanation, while linking the phenomenon and problem solving with the body of knowledge based on facts that were available. Second, hypothesis will give the fact that the relationship can be tested directly. The existence of the relationship between the variables studied can be clearly stated and proved by the facts. Third, hypothesis can provide a guide to research for hypothesis represents a specific objective. Hypotheses t...
